Prior to joining Celtic House in 2000, Brian Antonen was a senior technology analyst and partner at two Toronto brokerage firms, Paradigm Capital and Research Capital. He provided investment advice to leading institutional investors in Canada, the United States and Europe; and advised smaller capitalization technology firms on their financing activities.

Prior to this, Brian spent six years in various roles at Nortel Networks. Beginning as a design engineer, he moved on to positions in finance and marketing. He was eventually responsible for strategic planning and business-development activities in the advanced intelligent networking business.

Brian currently sits on the boards of Camilion Solutions, Fresco Microchip, Morega Systems, RedMere Technology, Sirific Wireless, and ViXS Systems. In the past, he has served on the boards of Cogency Semiconductor, RedCelsius and SiberCore Technologies.

Brian Antonen earned an Honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario, and the Certified Management Accountants of Ontario.
