Fresco Microchip

Patrick Leung joined Fresco Microchip Inc. in October 2010 and serves as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Fresco, Mr. Leung served as the Chief Financial Officer of Tristan Capital Inc. (formerly ATX Incorporated) between 2006 and 2010. At Tristan Capital, Mr. Leung was responsible for finance, administration and human resources for the ATX group of businesses which focused on broadband cable products and equipment, broadband technical services, systems integration solutions and television broadcast transmitter solutions. Beginning in 2008, Mr. Leung was responsible for harvesting its investments and achieving a liquidity event for Tristan’s shareholders.

Prior to Tristan, Mr. Leung was one of the founding members of Rockwater Capital in 2001, transitioning the company from a start-up organization to a leading independent financial services company, initially as the Chief Financial Officer, and later as an investment banker with its subsidiary, Blackmont Capital, until 2006. Between 1996 to 2001, Mr. Leung was an investment banker at Merrill Lynch & Co. and had been responsible for origination and execution of equity and debt offerings and mergers and acquisition advisory mandates in the financial services and technology industries.

Prior to Merrill Lynch, Mr. Leung held various management positions at Vitran Corporation Inc., a transportation company, focusing on corporate finance and corporate development. Mr. Leung began his career at Deloitte in 1988 as a staff accountant in the audit group. Mr. Leung is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a BA and MAcc from the University of Waterloo.
