Fresco USA Design Center - Irvine, California
Fresco’s USA Design Center is conveniently located in the “Irvine Spectrum”, the growing high-technology center of Irvine. One of the nation's largest planned urban communities, in June 2007 Irvine was again named The Safest City in the United States (it has held the title since 2005). It has a top-notch educational system, with the
Irvine Unified School District (IUSD) consistently ranking among the finest educational systems in the nation. It is also home to a number of colleges and the
University of California, Irvine. With more than 25,000 students, UCI is among the fastest-growing campuses in the University of California system.
Irvine offers a system of bicycle lanes and trails to encourage the use of bikes as a means of transportation. There are 45 miles of off-road bicycle trails and 282 miles of on-road bicycle lanes in Irvine. These trails are immediately accessible behind the Fresco office parking lot and offer miles of scenic trails for a quick walk or an extended jog or bike ride.
The region offers beaches, parks,
theme parks, museums, casinos, cultural events and historic sites. Within twenty minutes of the Fresco office are
Disneyland, the
Honda Center (concert venue and home of the current NHL Stanley Cup champion
Anaheim Ducks) and Angel Stadium (home of the 2002 MLB World Series Champion
Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim).
Its proximity to world-class cities offers further diverse entertainment and recreational activities.
Los Angeles (
Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica Boulevard and The Sunset Strip) and
San Diego (
Sea World, the
Gaslamp District,
The San Diego Zoo and
Wild Animal Park) are within an hour.
Palm Springs is within two hours and
Las Vegas within four.
For sun and art lovers, the Pacific Ocean and the beautiful
seaside resort and
artistic community of Laguna Beach are only 15 minutes away. Activities like parasailing, rafting, whale watching, snorkeling, scuba diving and jet skiing can get you out onto the water. The renowned Southern California warm weather and sunshine allow most of these activities year round, but ski lovers will also find winter snow only hours away in
Big Bear and
Lake Arrowhead.
