Silicon Tuners
Global Analog Demodulators & Digital IF Processors for Global Television

The FM1100 product family features single-chip devices that combine universal analog demodulation and multi-standard digital IF processing for global terrestrial and cable television markets. Each chip in the FM1100 family reduces system solution costs while delivering optimized, television-grade performance in an ultra-slim package.

Each chip reduces bill-of-materials costs significantly by eliminating the need for dozens of external components, including multiple SAW filters and amplifiers typically required in conventional solutions to achieve television-grade performance. The FM1100 family features Fresco's industry-leading adjacent channel rejection, which provides more reliable and broader television coverage through the home than previously possible. All chips in the FM1100 family feature an ultra-low profile and the same pin-compatible 5x5mm package, enabling tuner manufacturers to achieve new levels of miniaturization required for ultra-slim television applications.
